Chat ‘N’ Chill® Experiences
Since celebrating our 25th year anniversary in March we have had numerous guests and friends of Chat ‘N’ Chill® reach out in gratification for the wonderful memories they have created at Chat ‘N’ Chill® throughout the past 25 years with their friends and family.
This brings us great joy to know we impacted people’s lives around the world when they are visiting us for the first time or for the 25th time.
We want to share a quick love story and letter from our first couple who got married on the beach at Chat ‘N’ Chill®, 18 years ago. Since then, Chat ‘N’ Chill® has hosted hundreds of destination weddings and private beach events.
Steven and Mary Griffin fell in love at Chat ‘N’ Chill® in 2003
Mary and I fell in (more) love @ Chat ‘N’ Chill back in 2003 and within the next few months we were trying to figure “where” we would have our wedding in Summer 2004.
In our Sugar Land TX back yard spool, we decided to email KB and ask for his “permission” to have a wedding at Chat ‘N’ Chill, that we had enjoyed while cruising. After multiple emails over weeks not being answered, I thought I had totally ‘crossed the line’ with KB and made him mad.
We were so happy to receive an email from Kwanza and learn, she and KB had just returned from their own extended honeymoon. And overjoyed to learn, we could have our wedding at Chat ‘N’ Chill.
Not knowing Kwanza was in the beginning stages of starting A Wedding Breeze, and had just had her wedding at Chat ‘N’ Chill, Mary and I knew, they could understand our desire to have a ‘unique’ destination wedding.
Well, with 40 friends and family coming for a week-long summer beach party wedding, Kwanza’s skill on planning this major undertaking, her first wedding (beside her own) at Chat ‘N’ Chill, was seamless and flawless.
Now coming up on our 18th anniversary, our friends are still talking about what a great wedding / beach party that was so special. In fact, our friends never stop talking about how much fun and how special our wedding was.
Our love of Exuma is remembered daily as we operate our home building construction company in Houston (named after our memories) Exuma Construction and Development LLC. As you know, we named one of our small affordable homes The Delano Model, at his birth, years ago.
We’ve watched the hard work and successful growth of Chat ‘N’ Chill and A Wedding Breeze with pride and happiness.
As the first ‘Wedding Couple’ … Mary and I are so happy to know, that so many couples have been able to experience the Exuma Wedding Breeze and Chat ‘N’ Chill experience over the past 18 years.
