Our Menu

We are a slow-food restaurant! We hand make every dish by hand to order, so please hang out or browse our gift shop next door while we prepare your meal with love – the island way!

From the Grill – All grilled meals are served with either French fries or native peas ‘n’ rice and a side of KB’s famous garlic cabbage slaw.

Island Grilled Fish – Fresh-caught local fish is expertly seasoned and grilled to Bahamian perfection.

Butterflied Grilled Chicken Breast – Marinated, all-natural chicken breast sizzles on our grill until the exact moment of perfect, juicy tenderness.

BBQ Ribs – BBQ is a central part of Bahamian culture! Slow cooked over our open grill for hours, our BBQ pork ribs are fall-off-the-bone tender and filled with smokey flavor.

Salad

Stocking Island Salad – Crispy fresh greens tossed with local veggies such as tomatoes, sweet pepper (bell pepper) and onions, drizzled with your favorite salad dressing.

Add grilled chicken or fish for a splash of protein

Sandwiches and Burgers – All sandwiches are served with no dressings so you can fix it anyway you want it at our condiment bar–I double dare you to try KB’s Stocking Island HOT Sauce!

Hot Dog – All-beef hot dog, hot off the grill with a toasted bun and your choice of fixins’.

Hamburger – Juicy all-beef patty cooked to order and served on a toasted, fresh-baked bun with your choice of toppings.

Cheeseburger – Jokes are like burgers – the cheesier, the better. Our all-beef patty, cooked to order, and smothered with American Cheese.

Grilled Cheese – Melty American cheese on a twist – toasted buns.

Conchburger – Fresh conch just pulled from the sea outside Chat ‘N’ Chill® grounded fresh daily, seasoned, and grilled to sweet excellence. Served on a toasted bun with…you know the deal by now, plain/un-dressed! But if we could dress it for you, we recommend a side of KB’s famous garlic cabbage slaw, spoon up a heap on top, drizzled with a bit of his Stocking Island HOT Sauce, and it will be dressed to perfection!

Grilled Chicken Sandwich – Marinated chicken breast grilled until the ultimate moment of juicy, tender goodness is served on a toasted bun.

Sides

French Fries – Russet potatoes double-deep fried

KB’s Mama’s Native Peas ‘N’ Rice – No meal is complete without this quintessential side dish of The Bahamas. Deep brown pigeon peas and white long grain rice are seasoned with garlic, tomatoes, onions, fresh thyme, tomato paste and bacon for a hearty dish.

KB’s Garlic “Cabbage” Slaw – Crispy cabbage is hand-mixed with fresh lime juice, mayonnaise, seasoning and a hint of garlic to add a refreshing crunch to any meal.

Bahamian-style Macaroni ‘N’ Cheese (Sundays) – This is not your grandma’s mac-and-cheese! It’s OUR grandma’s mac-and-cheese! With peppers and spices, it’s a traditional taste of the islands.

Make ‘N’ Eat Conch Salad at The Conch Shack

Experience a Bahamian tradition and learn how the conch is taken straight from the sea, cracked, and broken out of its natural shell right before your eyes. The conch man then skins the conch, washes it, chops it up and prepares it with locally grown onions, tomatoes, sweet peppers, goat peppers and Bahamian sea salt for your conch salad. Top it off with a squeeze of fresh lime and orange to tantalize your taste buds…YUM!

If you are daring, you will also have a chance to swallow the Pistol, AKA “Bahamian Viagra” or their answer to fertility and ED problems!

Remember to feed our friendly stingrays some of the scraps from the skinning process of the conch salad. 🙂

A Unique, Chill Experience

quotationreview-ratingWe always have a great time at Chat N Chill, its just fun hanging out there and is a great spot for photographs. We rented a boat from Minns to get there but the water taxis are an easy and fairly inexpensive way to get there too.

quotationreview-ratingThere are just some places that you visit and say "wow, what a cool place!" That was my experience. We had burgers for lunch which were fine, but the atmosphere was incredible. A classic Caribbean beach bar...

quotationreview-ratingWe stopped at the Chat 'N' Chill on our Stocking Island trip. I tried the conch for the first time and I really liked it. The bar was full as expected but the beach was nice and people were having a great time. Feeding the stingrays was cool and I enjoyed our stop.
