About Kwanza

Kwanza Clay Bowe has more than 20 years experience in planning travel and group events. After being married at beautiful Stocking Island's Chat 'N' Chill to KB, she transferred her passion of creating memorable experiences for people to creating private island weddings for guests desiring to have a destination wedding in Great Exuma and The Exuma Cays. Kwanza is a Certified Wedding Specialist by Weddings Beautiful Worldwide, a Certified Travel Counselor by The Travel Institute and an Accredited Cruise Counselor by The Cruise Lines International Association. She holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Spelman College in Economics and minored in management and organization.. She has also completed the Bahamahost Program and a Bahamas Destination Speciliast courses through The Islands of The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism department.

Kwanza manages the wedding, special and corporate events as well as the website, newsletter, forum, public relations and marketing for Chat 'N' Chill. Her work is her life and her passion, so when not creating unique "out island" experiences, meeting new people and entertaining their guests, Kwanza enjoys reading, jazz music, blogging, reading her favorite blogs, learning more html, internet marketing and QuickBooks. But the most fun of all would be playing at the beach with her son, KB, Jr. and watching him grow and discover the world around him.
